What does Reading With ADHD collect about you?

Very little. You can read every page without an account. We count visits in aggregate to see which pages help people, your reading settings stay in your own browser, and if you email us we use your email only to reply.

When you read the site

  • Visit counts. Our hosting provider gives us aggregate visitor statistics: page views, which pages were visited, the site that sent you, device type and country. We use them to see which pages are useful. We do not use them to build a profile of you.
  • Reading aids. The Skim Path, text size and spacing controls remember your choice in your own browser's local storage, so the setting is still there next time. That data stays on your device; we never receive it. Clearing your browser data resets it.
  • No accounts, no comments, no newsletter forms. There is nothing to sign up for, so we do not hold passwords or profiles.

When you click a link to another site

Some links to products and stores may be affiliate links, which means the store may know you arrived from us and we may earn a commission if you buy. App Store links open Apple's site. Once you leave this site, the other site's privacy policy applies. Our affiliate rules are in the editorial policy.

When you email us

We use your email address and message to reply and, for corrections, to log the change. We do not add you to a mailing list and we do not sell or share your email.

Your choices

You can block or clear cookies and local storage in your browser at any time; the site still works. To ask what we hold about you, or to have an email deleted, write to editors@readingwithadhd.com.
